Loved Ones Celebrate Sir Roger Moore’s Life At Service In Monaco

The life of Sir Roger Moore, who died last month aged 89, has been celebrated by his friends and family at a private service in Monte Carlo.

The longest-reigning 007, who played James Bond from 1973 through to 1985, died on 23 may in Switzerland following a “short but brave battle with cancer”.

Joan Collins was among those who attended the funeral on Saturday, which she described as a “beautiful and loving service for one of the great Saints, Knights and Gents of our time

On Twitter, she wrote: “One last drink. Goodbye, dear @sirrogermoore.”

The order of service was posted on Sir Roger’s official Twitter account by his manager and biographer Gareth Owen, who wrote: “We said our goodbyes in a beautiful service and celebrated a wonderful life.
