Nevada Commission Gives Mayweather Go Ahead To Promote McGregor superfight

The undefeated world champ has been linked with a huge money superfight with UFC ace Conor McGregor.

Mayweather Promotions held a meeting in Las Vegas with the Nevada commission on Wednesday with the boxer’s team ready to request August 26 to hold the fight at the MGM Arena.

The request has been accepted and it appears a deal to show the fight on Showtime – Mayweather’s broadcast home – is still beingcompleted

Bookmakers Paddy Power are certain that the fight will go ahead after paying out on customers who backed the clash will happen.

“The fight looks set to be the biggest in history and might even eclipse both men’s egos.”
