Cristiano Ronaldo ‘Wants To Leave Spain’ As Tax Fraud Case Intensifies

The Portugal star believes he is “a victim of persecution” after it was claimed he defrauded Spanish tax authorities. He is desperate to leave Spain in the wake of tax fraud allegations, claim Portuguese reports.

The Real Madrid star has been accused of defrauding the Spanish tax authorities of €14.7million which he refutes. And now they say Ronaldo “does not want to continue in Spain and therefore will look to leave La Liga next month”.

“Despite the player’s deep passion for Real, Ronaldo’s decision is taken and the player wants to leave Spain shortly after the short holiday following the Confederations Cup,” Spanish news paper A Bola says

When asked by a reporter about the lawsuits, Ronaldo said: “I have a clear conscience.”
